From October 20, 2021, the number of times you can take the GMAT™ exam delivered online will increase. Online exam attempts will continue to count toward your overall GMAT™ exam attempt limits – 5 in a rolling 12-month period and 8 in a lifetime. You can take all of your exam attempts at a test center or online, or a combination of both – the choice is yours!
The coronavirus pandemic has changed a lot of things, the GMAT™ exam is among them. With the integration of online solutions over the past year and a half, the official Graduate Management Admissions Council has made the decision to make some of these changes permanent. As the GMAT is now permanently available online, the GMAC has decided on implementing important GMAT updates which will offer more cohesion between online and live testing platforms.
Increasing Number of Testing Attempts
Oct 6, 2021, GMAT Online Update: the number of Online Attempts is going up from 2 to 8. All GMAT attempts can be online.

Additional score reports can be purchased for US$35 each. For any exam taken on or after October 20, 2021, this new score sending policy will apply.
